Early this morning, the La Crosse Police Department responded to a report of a burglary at Wonder Wash Car Wash on La Crosse’s south side. Officers located a stolen car on the scene that was from Fillmore County in Minnesota. Footage from video surveillance provided a description of multiple suspects.
Information obtained indicated that the possible suspects were staying at the Affordable Inn on the city’s north side. Officers responded and took four suspects into custody.
Officers recovered numerous items including firearms, ammunition, tools, and a tactical flak jacket.
The suspects are also believed to have been involved in the theft of firearms from a motor vehicle, an attempted burglary at Wiebke Fur & Trading Company, as well as burglaries that have occurred in Southeastern Minnesota. We are working with multiple law enforcement agencies on this investigation.
The following suspects, with last known addresses in Austin, Minnesota, have been arrested and are in custody in the La Crosse County Jail, pending multiple charges:
