Over the past eight weeks, the La Crosse Police Department Lobby area has undergone a major renovation. Your patience with our limited hours and remote location during that time was much appreciated.
We’re happy to announce that lobby is nearly complete, with just a few finishing touches left. On Monday, September 15th, the Police Department Lobby will be officially re-opened, and we’re excited to share our improved customer service experience with you! Lobby hours are 8:30AM through 5:00PM, Monday through Friday, except on federal holidays when City Hall is closed.
This project is a culmination of changes that have been needed for many years including enhanced security for staff, citizens, and our records area; improved accessibility for persons with disabilities; better communications between citizens and staff; and a newly constructed conference room which is available for meetings needing privacy without full access to the Police Department.
