The La Crosse Police Department is pleased to announce that we will once again partner with Dairy Queen (Fourteen Foods) to promote a safety initiative called the “You’ve Been Caught Wearing Your Helmet” campaign.
La Crosse Police Officers will be handing out coupons for a free DQ treat (small cone) whenever they observe children wearing helmets while riding their bicycles. The coupons will be redeemable at the Dairy Queen on Mormon Coulee Road in La Crosse.
For the past few years, Dairy Queen and the La Crosse Police Department have come together for this great safety campaign. It has proven to be a fun way for Police Officers to make a personal and positive connection with the children in our community, while also rewarding them for practicing safety while biking.
