The official river stage at La Crosse, Wisconsin is projected to surpass 10 feet on Friday, July 22, 2016.
In the event that the river stage rises above 10’, a slow-no wake ordinance will take affect for all developed shorelines in La Crosse County. City Municipal Code 48-29 and County Code 30.80 define a developed shoreline area as being land adjacent to navigable water which is used or occupied by private or public owners. This ordinance shall apply to all vessels, boats or motorboats for which there is no exclusive jurisdiction of the State of Wisconsin or the United States as to its effect.
