On August 3, 2016 the La Crosse Police Department Investigative staff executed a search warrant at 1804 Loomis Street as part of an ongoing drug investigation.
Investigators over the past couple of weeks developed information of possible drug dealing out of this address. Kahla A. Martin and Dameon L. Hendricks were taken into custody and search warrants were conducted on their vehicles as well as their residence of 1804 Loomis Street.
Evidence seized as part of these search warrants included three guns (an AR-15 Rifle and two handguns). Both Martin and Hendricks are convicted felons. Also found was approximately $1,200.00, 2.4 grams MDMA (ecstasy), Marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.
Kahla A. Martin 04/10/1987 was charged with:
- Possession of a firearm as a felon
- Possession of MDMA
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
- Parole violation
- 2 counts of delivery of Heroin
Dameon L. Hendricks 06/07/1991 was charged with:
- Possession of a firearm as a felon
- Possession of MDMA
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
- Parole violation
Both suspects are being held in the La Crosse County Jail.
This makes 11 guns recovered on drug search warrants in 2016 so far by the La Crosse Police Department Drug Investigative Unit.
