The La Crosse Police Department is investigating the theft of copper pipe fittings from a job site construction trailer that was parked at the new Northside Elementary School under construction at 1611 Kane Street.
Some time between the evening of Saturday, February 15th and the morning of Sunday, February 16th, someone stole around $5,000 worth of copper pipe fittings after forcibly entering the contractor’s trailer. These fittings were between 1/2″ – 3″ in size and were mainly “T” or “90-degree” style of fittings. Most of these fittings have the name brand of “NIBCO”.
Anyone with information on this crime is asked to call the La Crosse Police Department at (608) 785-5962 or the La Crosse Area Crime Stoppers at (608) 784-TIPS.
