On 01/14/16 the La Crosse Police Department Investigation Bureau apprehended three Male Juveniles for the Burglary at the north side Shopko (2400 Rose Street) that took place at approximately 12:30 a.m. on Sunday morning 01/10/16. Three juveniles had smashed an exterior window and then gained entry to the store and stole various items. With the help of surveillance video and information gathered by a LCPD School Resource Officer, Investigator Andy Rosenow was able to gather information that lead to the apprehension.
During the Investigation and apprehension of the juveniles; 2 CO2 (air soft) guns, BB’s, cartridges and a backpack were recovered from the burglary. The picture attached is that of one of the air soft guns recovered, which is a CO2 air soft gun which is very similar looking to a .44 revolver. The incident is still under investigation.
