After spending time in Cameron Park, visiting with the park’s frequent patrons, the Downtown area Neighborhood Resource Officers Joel Miller and Alex Burg noticed that the busy park could benefit from a bit of spring cleaning. They approached downtown businesses with their idea for a clean-up and received overwhelming support!
Today, from 11:30AM – 1:30PM, the NRO Unit will be joined by volunteers from Downtown Mainstreet Inc., Cameron Park Farmer’s Market, Catholic Charities, Seven Magazine, and many of the frequent visitors of Cameron Park for an Earth Day Clean-Up of the park. If the volunteers finish in the park, they will head to Market Square Ramp.
We would like to thank our business partners and volunteers for their help, as well as the Parks & Recreation Department for their assistance with clean-up supplies!
