Police Look for Shooting Suspect

A shooting in the early morning hours of September 7, 2016 has the La Crosse Police asking for the public’s help in locating the suspect, Jeremy L. Rigelsky.

At 12:46 am this morning, Onalaska and La Crosse Police were dispatched to the Festival Foods at 1260 Crossing Meadow Drive for an individual with a non-life threatening gunshot wound to the upper thigh.  Statements provided to the police indicated that Jeremy Rigelsky (01-06-1989) had fired a hand gun several times at the vehicle the victim was in while both cars were driving south in the area of 800 Copeland Ave.  Preliminary information indicates that there is an ongoing conflict between Rigelsky and the occupants of the other vehicle.d  The individual who was hit by the shot was treated and released from a local hospital.  None of the other occupants of the vehicle were hit by any of the shots.

La Crosse Police are still investigating the incident to determine the complete details surrounding this incident.

Jeremy Rigelsky was last seen driving what was described as a gold color Chevy Impala.  La Crosse Police ask that anyone with information on the location of Jeremy L.
