Shooter In Custody

The La Crosse Police are pleased to announce that Jeremy L. Rigelsky has been taken into custody and would like to thank the public for their assistance in locating him.

At 6:53 am this morning La Crosse Police received information that Jeremy Rigelsky was leaving the area of Car Street as a passenger in a white Pontiac Grand Prix. La Crosse officers located that vehicle driving on Green Bay and South Ave.  Officers followed the vehicle briefly when it pulled into the north alley at 1000 Green Bay St and parked to the rear of a residence.  Rigelsky was the front seat passenger in this vehicle and was taken into custody without incident.

After taking Rigelsky into custody a loaded pistol was located immediately under the car seat he was sitting in.

Jeremy L. Rigelsky is being charged with:

  • 1st degree attempted homicide
  • Felon in possession of a firearm
  • Operating a motor vehicle without the owner’s consent
  • Felony probation warrant

In addition the driver of the vehicle, Blong Vue (09-30-1985), was taken into custody and charged with:

  • Possession of methamphetamine
  • Probation warrant

Both are currently held in the La Crosse County Jail. Additional investigation is ongoing.

    Probably be released on sig bonds so no biggie 😦
