UPDATE: Drug Dealer Awaiting Trial Arrested Again

IMG_1700La Crosse Police informed the public of Deante L. House’s arrest from last Wednesday night in a press release put out on March 22nd. Mr. House was initially arrested with over $4,700.00 cash and an estimated street value of $11,000.00 of drugs which included methamphetamine, heroin and cocaine.  Additionally, Mr. House was out on bond awaiting trial in two other drug delivery cases from late 2016; one in La Crosse County and one out of Illinois.

La Crosse Police Investigators continued their investigation into Mr. House even after the arrest. On Friday afternoon Investigators applied for a search warrant for Mr. House’s home address of 919 East Ave. North in Onalaska and Mr. House’s girlfriend’s vehicle.  With the assistance of Onalaska Police, La Crosse Police Investigators executed these search warrants and located large quantities of cash and drugs.

Between the search of the residence and vehicle, Investigators located an additional $25,792.00 cash. They also located another 167.2 grams of methamphetamine and 97.6 grams of cocaine with a total estimated street value of more than $20,000.00.  In total, this investigation has netted over $30,000.00 cash and drugs with an estimated street value over $30,000.00.

Deante HouseThe follow through investigation has led to Investigators adding 2 additional charges on Mr. House:

  1. Possession with Intent to Deliver Cocaine > 40 grams
  2. Possession with Intent to Deliver Methamphetamine . 50 grams

Chief Tischer lauded the investigation: “The diligent work of our Investigators took a significant ‘for profit’ drug dealer off our streets. Individuals like this have a negative impact on the quality of life for the whole area. By arresting this individual we have hopefully made La Crosse, Onalaska and the community as a whole safer.”
