Open Bike Barn Hours
Beginning this evening, citizens that have reported a lost or stolen bicycle have the opportunity to look for their bicycle during open Bike Barn hours. The Bike Barn (Police Impound Building) is located on Isle la Plume at 1925 Marco Drive in La Crosse.
The Bike Barn is open to the public from 4:30PM – 6:00PM on the first Wednesday of each month from April to October. The 2018 open Bike Barn dates are:
April 4th
May 2nd
June 6th
July 11th (closed for the July 4th holiday)
August 1st
September 5th
October 3rd
Anyone claiming a bicycle must have a copy of a previously submitted police report.
Please note, anyone riding a bicycle in the City of La Crosse must register and license their bicycle (Municipal Code 44-222). Registration is FREE and can be completed at the Police Department or via our online registration form. Bicycle make, model, serial number, and color are needed.
Spring City Auction
The Spring City Auction will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at the Bike Barn.
Viewing of available items will begin at 9:00AM with bidding starting at 10:00AM. The available items vary significantly from auction to auction, but there are always many bicycles available!
