The La Crosse Police are currently investigating a shooting which occurred in the downtown area in the early morning hours of August 5th. Police received reports of shots fired in the area of 3rd and Main St. A short time later 2 separate individuals came into a local hospital with non-life threatening gun shot wounds.
This is an active investigation, with more information to be made available in the future.
