Mayor’s Neighborhood Conference

This past weekend, Mayor Tim  hosted the first annual Mayor’s Neighborhood Conference at the Black River Beach Neighborhood Center.  There were several informational presentations with subjects ranging from “Creating Safe Spaces” to “The Flourishing Community”, by keynote speaker Richard Kyte, director of Viterbo’s D.B. Reinhart Institute for Ethics in Leadership.

Along with the formal presentations, there was information on forming a Neighborhood Watch Group, how up-keep on a home can deter crime, and more.  There was also a presentation of the first Neighborhood Revitalization Awards.
