The La Crosse Police Department, with the help from the La Crosse County Medical Examiner’s Office, is currently investigating the death of a white female who appears to be in her 20s. At approximately 7:00AM on Monday April 27, 2015 workers located the body of the female on the ground in the small walkway alley to the rear of businesses at 122 and 126 N. 3rd Street, just south of 300 State Street.
Investigators are currently checking with local businesses and residents to see if there are any possible witnesses, as well as checking to see if there is any possible video in the area. No further information is available at this time, pending further investigation.
