Drug Search Warrant Yields Meth, Cash and Felon in Possession of a Firearm

Last night La Crosse Police Investigators and Emergency Response Team executed a search warrant at 1623 Johnson St. The search warrant was based on a drug investigation into Nathan Kohls (06/26/1991) of La Crosse. Mr. Kohls has an extensive criminal history and currently on an active felony bond and probation.

Upon executing the search warrant officers took Kohls into custody without incident. 20190226_233229Additionally Investigators seized a loaded hand gun, methamphetamine with an estimated street value of about $4000.00, as well as $2000.00 cash. Kohls was referred to the district attorney’s office on the following charges:

  • Manufacture/Delivery of Methamphetamine
  • Possession with the Intent to Deliver Methamphetamine
  • Maintaining a Drug Trafficking Place
  • Felon Possession of Firearm
  • Felony Bailjumping
  • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
  • Possession of THC
  • Illegally Possess Prescription

Kohls is scheduled to appear in court today.

NOTE: Mr. Kohls is considered innocent until proven guilty.

    honestly this kid is a monster. Ive known him for years. Really hope the judge is smart and puts him away for a long time this time.
