Last night La Crosse Police Investigators and Emergency Response Team executed a search warrant at 819 Avon St. The search warrant was based on information that Andrew R. Henke (07/27/1983) was selling methamphetamine out of that residence.
Upon executing the search warrant Mr. Henke was taken into custody without incident. While searching the residence Investigators located 918.6 grams of methamphetamine (2.02 lbs) worth an approximate street value of $26,000, drug packaging material, 112 grams of an unknown white substance and over $14,000.00 cash.
Mr. Henke was referred on charges of Possession of Intent to Deliver Methamphetamine.
While the La Crosse area continues to struggle with drug dealing of all kinds, methamphetamine is clearly the most significant drug issue for our community. In 2018 the La Crosse Police referred 37 “possession with the intent to deliver methamphetamine” charges to the La Crosse County District Attorney’s office; this is more than all other “intent to deliver” charges combined in 2018.
These drug busts do not work . These people are just being used to make it look like the cops are doing their jobs. If these busts worked. By now all the bad drugs should be gone.its all about the gov,t making money from the lower iq people.
.
Thank you LCPD for protecting our citizens against all the drug problems you can. This is making a safer La Crosse community.
